Columbus Ohio's Great Pizza Secret - Bono's Pizza

Saturday June 11th 2011

After discovering a public powered review site called YELP and reading some of the foodie reviews, I decided to check out a pizza place called Bonos Pizza.

First of all let me start by saying that had I not read the origional review on yelp, I never would of found this place. It is rather a small place that occupies the corner of a convieniance store. Inside is a self contained food prep area, 2 tables and an owner built wood burning oven that cooks the pizza's to perfection at 1800 degrees.

The owner was kind enough to allow us to film our pizza's being made in the wood fired oven.

The Pizza's are 10" pizza's and cost $10.00 each regardless of topping. I was there with my friends Cliff and Kathy so we opted for the ongoing special of 3 pizza's for $25.00.

I can not overstate how good the pizza is at Bono's, I really can't.

It was so good in fact that we had to order a 4th pizza, not because we were hungry, but because it was just so good.

Yes it is that good folks, it really is. The management state they buy fresh ingredients every day which from the outstanding flavor makes sense.

Bono's does not sell drinks of any kind so be sure to either take your own or purchase from the attached connivance store or the Kroger next door. Silverware and glassware is provided.

Finish your meal with the house specialty and ONLY dessert, the Waffle! A truly memorable experience.

Bono's is located at 1717 Northwest Blvd, ColumbusOH 43212
